Description
IBA Rootmone is a plant hormone for inducing rooting of cuttings, hasten the growth of new roots on transplanted trees and seedings. Also applicable on rubber stumps to aid earlier root initiation and growth.
Direction for USE:
1.
(a) TREATING BARE – ROOT BUDDED STUMPS
~ Add 1 litre water to 200g IBA ROOTMONE formulation and mix thorughly to prepare a light slurry
(b) TREATING BARE – ROOT STUMPED BUDDINGS / LARGE SEEDLING STUPS TAILED 2 WEEKS PREVIOUSLY
~ Add 0.7 litre water to 200g IBA ROOTMONE formulation and mix thoroughly to prepare a light slurry.
(c) TREATING ORNAMENTAL CUTTINGS
~ Add 0.9 litre water to 200g IBA ROOTMONE formulation and mix thoroughly to prepare a light slurry
2. Apply the slurry on the entire tap root up to the coliar region either by:
i) Dipping it in the slirry in a tall,slim container or
ii) Pouring the slurry over bundles of budded stumps placed on a slanting tray or
iii) Painting the slurry on the root with a brush
3. Allow the treated stumps to air dry under shade for a short before transplanting.
